UbiSim Free Trial Guide

We're glad you're here! This guide will prepare you to access and use your free trial of the UbiSim immersive virtual reality simulation platform for nursing. 

Set-Up Steps

Note: If you’re borrowing headsets from UbiSim, you can skip the initial set-up steps!

Step 1: Please ensure that you've set up your Meta account(s) and Meta headset(s). If you haven't done so already, please refer to the 'Meta Account & Headset Setup'. 

IMPORTANT: If using multiple headsets, please ensure that each one is set up with a different Meta account. If multiple headsets are set up under the same Meta account, this may result in access issues when trying to access UbiSim from multiple headsets simultaneously!

Step 2: The next steps will show you how to access the UbiSim portal and download the UbiSim app on your headset(s). Please refer to the PDF guide titled 'Client Setup (Standalone)'.

If you are using a device manager such as ArborXR or Meta Quest for Business, you can import the .apk file directly on all or some of the headsets at once rather than having to install the app on each headset individually. You find the .apk file by logging into the UbiSim portal, clicking the 'Admin' tab, clicking the 'Update' tab and then either downloading the file or copying the download link.

System Requirements

You will need at least one computer/laptop and one Meta Quest VR headset to experience UbiSim.
